This is exactly the kind of content I’ve been praying Apple would acquire for its diminutive $99 set-top box. On Wedneday Apple announced that HBO Go and WatchESPN (and a few other content providers) had made their way to the Apple TV. Update: Shortly before 8 PM Pacific Time, the DIRECTVService Twitter account tweeted “DirecTV customers will soon be able to access HBO Go content through Apple TV.” This comes after a day where the satellite service received numerous complaints over Twitter.
